Every year, billions of pounds in public sector contracts require nature-based social value commitments. Most of those commitments are vague, undeliverable, or never tracked.
Carbon Heroes is building the infrastructure to change that.
Our platform captures commitments at the point of bid and converts them into real, verified, funded urban nature assets post-award.
Layer 1
When a public sector supplier faces a nature-based social value question in a tender, BidBooster delivers:
A place-based urban nature strategy scoped to the contract location
Quantified social value in £ — aligned to TOMs, PPN, and local frameworks
Bid-ready narrative content, KPI frameworks, and methodology documentation
Full audit trail and defensible evidence pack
All in under 10 minutes. BidBooster is live, serving suppliers across construction, FM, infrastructure, and professional services.
Once a contract is awarded, the social value commitments made at bid stage need to become reality. The Carbon Heroes Transaction & Delivery layer manages this end-to-end:
Payment is processed post-award via the platform, and linked directly to defined assets.
Councils and approved partners deliver the trees and nature assets. Pre-scoped, location-specific. No operational burden on the supplier.
Asset-level tracking in a proprietary tree registry — per tree, per project. Delivery validated by partners. Audit-ready reporting aligned with procurement frameworks.
The result: suppliers fulfil their commitments without managing delivery. Councils receive funded, structured investment in their urban tree infrastructure. Every asset is tracked, verified, and reported.
The Carbon Heroes tree registry provides asset-level tracking for every tree funded through the platform. Each entry includes species, location (GPS), planting date, maintenance schedule, ecosystem service valuation, and social value contribution.
The registry serves three purposes: it gives suppliers audit-ready evidence of delivery, it gives councils a structured dataset of their urban tree estate, and it gives the platform a verified asset layer that underpins every transaction.

“We're proud to collaborate with Carbon Heroes and Earthwatch to plant a Tiny Forest in an area of Bristol with limited access to nature rich spaces. The garden will provide pupils, families and residents with a new green space for learning, wellbeing, and community action. We hope the forest continues to benefit the community long after our engagement ends.”
